Classic Rooms

PERFECTLY POSITIONED ON THE SOUTHERN BANKS OF THE CROCODILE RIVER, OUR FIVE STAR LODGE OVERLOOKS THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK AND OFFERS A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON CLASSIC COLONIAL COMFORT.

Eight spacious en-suite double rooms, each featuring generously sized bathrooms with both a bath and freestanding shower. Guests can choose between contemporary open-plan layouts or more private, enclosed bathroom designs. Beautifully furnished throughout, each room overlooks the expansive gardens and surrounding mountains, creating a serene and restful setting. Two of these rooms are thoughtfully designed to accommodate families.

Kruger Park River Rooms

WITH UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OF THE CROCODILE RIVER, THESE ROOMS OFFER A CALM AND SPACIOUS RETREAT, COMBINING NATURAL LIGHT, THOUGHTFUL LAYOUTS, AND REFINED, CONTEMPORARY FINISHES.

These three spacious en-suite River Rooms are ﬁlled with natural light, framed by large windows that open onto sweeping views of the Crocodile River and the iconic Kruger National Park. Each room features a contemporary open-plan bathroom design, thoughtfully paired with a separate private toilet for added comfort and convenience.

Elephant Suites

DESIGNED FOR THOSE SEEKING A MORE SECLUDED BUSH ESCAPE, THESE TWO NEWLY RENOVATED SUITES ARE SET APART FROM THE MAIN LODGE, OVERLOOKING THE RIVER AND OFFER EXPANSIVE VIEWS OF THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK.

Each suite offers complete privacy, with its own expansive deck and private plunge pool, a quiet sanctuary immersed in the rhythm of the bush. Inside, generously proportioned living spaces and reﬁned furnishings create an atmosphere of effortless comfort, while large sliding doors open seamlessly onto the outdoors, inviting uninterrupted views from both the lounge and bedroom. The open-plan bathroom is thoughtfully designed with both a bath and indoor shower, complemented by an additional outdoor shower for a more immersive, nature-led experience.

“From the moment you arrive, to the time of check out you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and super cozy! Sitting on the veranda, overlooking the Kruger National Park must be a highlight. We saw a pride of lions, a few buffalo grazing in front of the lodge, waterbuck, loads of Hippo activity and Elephants drinking on the Horizon. The food served is really out of this world…Buhala Lodge also booked a round of golf for me at the Prestine Leopard Creek Golf Club, which was a 1 in a million experience. Thank you to the friendly staff at Buhala for making our stay so special. We will deﬁnitely be back very soon”.
